I wanted to take advantage of the 'Fall' colours but not make something 'seasonal' because I don't really have a demand for Halloween or Thanksgiving-themed cards.
Here is my take on a neutral card using the beautiful umbers, bronze, copper, and pumpkin families.
What was involved?
Cardstock -WAMK pumpkin 12" square folded in quarters
Mosaic - I used the NEGATIVE from a gold 'Peel-Offs' design. While it was still on the backing paper, I stamped it with moss green Studio G ink and then used Melt Art (Suze Weinberg)Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel to give it the glossy and burnished look. I totally LOVE how it turned out.
Sentiment and border decals (Peel-Offs).
Butterfly embellishment - plain chipboard (punched), butterfly stamp(taken from larger Inkadinkado stamp and applied with Black StazOn. Butterfly coloured with Faber-Castell PITT artist pen big brush (Dark Naples ochre) and gold PITT artist pen.
I used the same embossing powder (3 dips). Edges of chip board are accented with Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Ink (Cosmic Copper).
Tape is 7 Gypsies.
Corner punch - Martha Stewart
Chalks and Rangers Distress Ink to shade the card stock.
I hope you like my latest creation!

Hard Drive Art!
I'm taking a bit of a detour today because something piqued my interest when hubby Sid showed me the inside of a hard drive. I immediately knew that I would need a screwdriver because when I looked at the circuit board and plate I saw some beautiful parts.
I was intrigued by the gorgeous orange-copper wires, red rust motor...
So here are the preliminary photos before I 'go to town' on them.
Any ideas? I already have a few swirling around in my head..
Let me know what comes to YOUR mind!

ANNOUNCEMENT -- I said 'Yes'...
I am happy to announce that I am now on the following Design Teams:
Addicted-to-Stamps
and The Scrapbook Stamp Society.
I love the wide range of images and look forward to having a lot of fun and letting the creativity FLOW!
The artwork is beautiful and the stamps are very affordable (and you know that affordability is important to me when using and recommending products).
Please check out Addicted to Stamps
and The Scrapbook Stamp Society,
There was a new stamp release tonight and a blog hop this weekend. More details will follow about the blog hop.
Here are some of my favourite releases from tonight's party:

Aren't they great?!?
