BLINDFOLDED CARD MAKING?Crop & Create is ONE week away!

I know it's going to be amazing and I'm looking forward to so many things, but one event that I am sure YOU will all enjoy (videotaped), is I am one of six participants/victims/ to participate in a 2-Minute BLINDFOLDED CARD MAKING CONTEST! Yes, that's right.  We will have 15 seconds to see the products available to us and with the help of a few friends, we have to create a card in 2 minutes!

Watercolor-A-Day Calendar - John Singer Sargent

I love that you learn a little bit about an artist each day and there is a helpful hint included with each painting.  I also discovered there is actually a little palette to hold the paints! I use the recess where the paint brush came for a little water well.

First project for 2012 - Watercolor-a -day Calendar


Some time in November I visited Costco and picked up this calendar and aspired to start and finish it during 2012.

It comes with a paint brush, 5 paints, and a lesson each day.

The start of my daily calendar!

This is working most magnificently!!!

Sorry it's a little blurry; I didn't check before I painted it.

 I am restricting myself to using the supplies in the kit.  I don't know how long I will be able to do it because they are (obviously) not high quality paints or brush, but I'm trying to make it work. I'm following the daily 'lesson' and it looks like it will be a lot of fun.
