Addicted-to-Stamps Weekly Digi Release - What did I use?

This week I chose a beautiful image from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff; Viridisincendia Digi Doodle Download Stamp which you can find here: Addicted-to-Stamps

YOU SHOULD KNOW: Once I finished colouring my image I sealed it with a fixative before adding Glossy Accents or any other materials. That way I could proceed with all my enhancements with no worry to ruin or smudge ink, paint or chalk.

I used Glossy Accents to emphasize the colour and interest. Using my blow dryer really helped speed up the drying time. The 'silver' is Silver coloured Bic markers.

Adding crystal embellishments also helped enhance the look I was trying to achieve.

One of my main objectives was to add dimension to this image.  I think I achieved it using watercolour, markers to shade, and Glossy Accents to add depth to the shade.  Everything is lying flat on this card; I did not use any pop dots.

The sentiment is a velum sheet from Colorbok - it was in a pad of stickers, paper and sentiments.
The ribbon is from a mini-scrapbooking kit I picked up AGES ago.
My Scotch Tape Glider provided all the adhesive.

Personally, I don't like the way I colour in faces when using markers or watercolours so I prefer to use chalk where I can achieve a beautifully blended result.

I printed the image onto a pastel-weight paper using my laser printer, and used the following supplies:
Staedtler Triplus Fineliners
Martha Stewart craft markers
Derwent Inktense Pencils
Loew-Cornell pencils
Marvy Twinklettes
Staedtler Karat Aquarell Watercolour Pencils
Zig Photo Twin markers
Gelly Roll pen
Decorator chalks
Glossy Accents
Crystal stickers

Thank you for stopping by!
