World Card Making Day

The one day when everyone in the world makes a card... not. But wouldn't it be great if that were true?

Can you imagine diplomats in Norway brushing everything off their desks and getting out glue dots and stamps; or drug lords putting their guns in a drawer and pulling out a Martha Stewart scoreboard?

Anyway... you know we will find ANY excuse to make cards so let us enjoy
World Card Making Day (the Holiest of Holies to a card maker)
and CREATE!

I will be spending the day at a Crop where we will be making Holiday and Christmas cards for our Troops. ( Operation Christmas Cards.)
For those of you staying at home there are hundreds of online events, most with hourly giveaways.  Check out Scrapbook & Cards Today for hourly projects, ideas and giveaways.

For these cards I used the $1 bin patterned white cards and envelopes from Michaels. I chose to go with less embellishments as I challenged myself to create interest, depth and texture while limiting myself to few elements.
Paper used: SN@P, Recollections
Embellishments; Recollections, Martha Stewart
Sentiments: Tim Holtz

Go forth and create!
