I created these SUPER easy paper flowers with Ann Butler stamps and I love them.
I cut out all the petals for my flower and stamped them with 2" Unity Stamp 'Leaves All Over' Ann Butler faux-quilting stamps, and Surfacez black ink.Surfacez is great because it stamps on many surfaces and dries quickly. This is important because I am going to be wetting my petals with inks and mists and I don't want the ink to smudge or run.
I sprayed with a combination of misting inks from Ranger, Maya Road, Tattered Angels, and Heidi Swapp.
Boy can it be MESSY!
My Ranger craft mat is indispensable! ( I have 3 of them) For this project, not only does it give me an easily cleaned surface, but it allows me to spray some ink directly onto the mat so I may control where I want the ink to go on my stamped surface.
TIP: Misting the stamped paper, before shaping and gluing the petals together, helps you manipulate the paper and makes it much easier to role the paper. A hair dryer is very helpful if you want to quicken the drying process.
All you need: flower shapes printed out, scissors, stamps, ink, spraying mist, glue!
