Penny Slider Christmas Card for Addicted-to-Stamps Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to Decorables and The Addicted-to-Stamps Holiday Blog Hop! I hope you enjoy the card I made for this hop.  Can you figure out what  I made it from??
HINT: You can find out at the end of my post  where you will also find the info you need to know about this hop and rules for winning prizes! :)

Please hop along with each of us!

You should have arrived here from Jill's blog
If at any time you get lost or need to start at the beginning (which I recommend)  you should go to the
where you can also read ALL information about this hop.

Each design team member will choose on Monday one person that commented on their blog to receive the digi stamp they used - FOR FREE!!! The digi I was given is called ELFSPARKLE  and it was designed by Sherri Baldy; and I think it's so adorable.
I love Sherri Baldy stamps because her line art is detailed, but clean and easy to colour.
Doesn’t that sound like a fun little gift just for stopping by?

In order to qualify for my digital stamp, you need to leave a comment about this post on my blog AND become a Follower of mine.

REMEMBER:
GRAND PRIZE: Digital Stamps PLUS everything you see here! WOW!!
We have a prize for the Grand Prize Winner!
We will randomly draw on Monday evening and in a new post announce a winner that will win 3 digi stamps of their choice from our store. They are valued at $3.99 each, which equals a near $12.00 value.
And a whole bunch of other stuff pictured here.

In order to qualify for the GRAND PRIZE, you need to do 3 things:
  1. Follow the Addicted-To-Stamps blog
  2. Like the Facebook fan page: Addicted-To-Stamps Facebook Fan Page
  3. Comment on all the blogs including the main one! And be sure to leave a way to contact you, and in the comment on this main blog if you want you can go to http://scrapbookstampsociety and let us know which digi stamp is your favorite. If you do that you will receive that one in addition to the 3 digis you choose, if you win!
When you finish reading my post, your next stop on the hop is at
And now meet ElfSparkle!

Do you see the layers and gap where I cut out a 'track' for my slide? The key thing to do is to make the opening wide enough that the slider glides easily, but not so big that the slider won't stay in the track.

The card is very sturdy and is great as a 'table-top' card.

I added Flock to emphasize fur and snow.

Notice Rudolph and his present are at the top of the 'slide'

Notice Rudolph and his present are at the bottom of the 'slide'
Kids have a lot of fun sliding the image back and forth.

Side Pocket is perfect for placing a note, money, Gift Card, etc.

This is a card of many parts. I love how differently it looks depending on which flaps are open.

A full tutorial on how I made this card will be available this week on my blog.  If you become a Follower and sign up for my e-mails, you will be notified when it has been posted.
I will show how to make the penny slider and how I deconstructed an 'Always' sample holder to make this card.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the Hop!
